The tool detects and removes: zero-width spaces (U+200B), zero-width joiners (U+200D), zero-width non-joiners (U+200C), byte order marks (U+FEFF), soft hyphens (U+00AD), word joiners (U+2060), and several other invisible Unicode characters.
How does normalize work?
Normalize converts Unicode mathematical characters back to their plain ASCII equivalents. For example, π―πΌπΉπ± becomes bold, πͺπ΅π’ππͺπ€ becomes italic, and ππΈππΎπ π becomes script. It also removes combining marks used for strikethrough and underline.
What does the compatibility badge mean?
